What were the ten kicks that Doju Nim Choi taught?
Doju Nim Choi¡¯s kicking philosophy was to kick the lower part of the body. He said it is very dangerous to kick the upper part.
Because Hapkido is not a sport, but it is a martial art, he said ¡°that you would be fatally wounded only by one mistake¡±.
So, Doju Nim Choi¡¯s kicking techniques mostly consisted of those to the lower and vital parts of the body.
Those are as follows;

1. ÇÏ´Ü ¹ß¸ñÂ÷±â(Kicking the lower ankle)


2. ³¶½É Â÷±â1(Kicking the groin 1)


3. ³¶½É Â÷±â2Kicking the groin 2)


4. Ãø¹æÁ·µµ·Î ¹«¸¨°üÀýÂ÷±â(Kicking the knee joint with the side foot knife)


5. Àü¹æÁ·µµ·Î ¹«¸­°üÀýÂ÷±â (Kicking the knee joint with the front foot knife)


6. ´ëÅðºÎ ³»·ÁÂ÷±â(Kicking the femoral part downward)


7. ôÃß °¨¾ÆÂ÷±â(Winding the spine and kicking)


8. ¹«¸¨°üÀý µ¹·Á±î±â(Spinning and kicking the leg joint)


9. ÅÎÂ÷±â(Kicking the chin)


10. ¹ßµÞÃà µÚ·ÎÂ÷±â(Kicking backward with the rear foot)
